Don’t expect the best build quality or the best functioning transmitter for 10 dollars. It does what its suppose to do and that is all I can ask for. If you leave it out in your car and it gets below 30 degrees you have to warm it up a bit for it to turn on. Till this day I have no idea how to set up the time and the temperature readings are always wrong.

The car power cord it comes with is very poor quality and Id rather spend a few bucks on triple A batteries rather then deal with the stress of constantly replugging it into the 12v socket. I have yet to try the USB socket though.

Anyways can’t beat it for the price.

Ok……I can’t say that It doesn’t do the most important task your buying it for,…But!…as far as owner satisfaction goes…Forget it!! The plastic used on this is like the compound used in the first things you ever saw made out of plastic…Holy cow does it “stink.” Like they searched out the worst plastic chemistry. I’ll explain…It scratches, and discolors ‘instantly’, also..it is very hard, and brittle, and white. This thing has no official on off switch, or anything about it that seems self explanatory…I am a problem solving type of person, but this thing is crazy. I have gotten to the point that I take it’s cheap battery cover off, and yank a battery to make sure that I am not wasting battery power when I am not using it…..That sucks! Buy something else. I would.

All in all the transmitter works pretty good. The sound quality is good and clear. However the unit itself is not of that great of quality. We bought two of these and one of them the wires are pulling out. And the other one doesn’t always turn on, untill you mess with it. So basicly you get what you pay for! Next time I’ll spend a little more.

If I’d seen this at a store I would not have purchased it. The packaging couldn’t be cheaper and the device itself is less than prepossessing. But I bought it through Amazon (TigerDirect.com was great) based on the positive reviews, the price, and also the fact that most of these battery-powered transmitters, even the ones with big names, have crummy reviews. I thought for the price I probably couldn’t go far wrong.

I was a little worried when I saw the low-quality packaging and the complete lack of instructions on how to use this thing. I slapped a couple of batteries in it and fiddled around with the cords and pretty soon I was transmitting a downloaded audiobook from my mp3 player to my under-the-counter stereo. And it sounded great!

All in all, I am super pleased with this product. I don’t know about the time/temperature features; they were a non-factor in my purchase. But the Prolynkz does what it’s supposed to do–changes my mp3 players into mini radio stations, at home and in my truck. Even if it only works a year, I will consider it money well spent.

Works great for the price, compact, cord can be wrapped around and locks along edge to store. Was worried about the quality because of the low price but no complaints so far. Only takes two triple A’s, my old one took 4 double A’s so that’s plus. Not glad old one got stolen but I like this one much better
